What would the world be without bees?

These little giants play an essential role in our culture and agriculture.

If there were no more bees, not only the great delicacies on the breakfast table would be omitted.

It would have far-reaching consequences for the general food supply.

But why is the number of bees falling so massively worldwide?

It is the interplay of many environmental influences that does not make finding a solution easy.

But we humans are an important reason – and we can make a major contribution with little effort.

Here is a small NABU excerpt:

Buy organic food and support sustainable agriculture.

Support bees by growing bee-friendly plants in your garden or on your balcony.

Take on a bee sponsorship – for example at BeeGood. As a small bonus, you will receive a jar

of honey from your sponsored children once a year.

If you are interested in beekeeping, first of all it is worthwhile to “join in” with someone else.

Many beekeepers also offer trial days.

You can contact us at any time for the right starter set, because beekeeping as well as developing and producing beekeeping supplies has been part of our passion for over 40 years.

The material

PUR – hard integral foam

The best material for making beehives.

Polyurethane (PU, PUR) are plastics or synthetic resins that result from the polyaddition reaction of polyols with polyisocyanates.

Polyurethanes are versatile, modern and safe. They are used to manufacture consumer goods and industrial products. Polyurethanes are comfortable and environmentally friendly.

All colonies in our hives are, compared to the colonies in wooden hives, one egg-laying period ahead in the spring.

We are convinced that the PUR rigid integral foam used by KUNESA is the right, tried and tested solution for the benefit of our bees.
